I went to the west end yesterday. Huge numbers of people just standing around. It turneed out they were people who couldn't get into Trafalgar Square to see Harry Potter. The group in this photo had had the idea of standing on the steps of St Martin in the Field to look over the fence surrounding the square. I'm assuming they could see the screen which was at the foot of Nelsons Column. Otherwise it would have been a bit pointless.
The weather was foul so the pictures a bit murky.

Can you send me the original of this photo? Or do you have other pictures you took of the crowd on the steps of St Martin in the Fields Church?
